Q&A

Why the UltraHome Premium compared other systems?

Simple. It’s what is on the inside the counts. Other cheap and inferior systems use Granulated activated carbon. Essentially like what is inside a Brita filter. You can’t possibly protect yourself and your home with that!. The Premium employs the same technology as our industry leading UltraWater filters, so you get ultimate protection and peace of mind.

How do I install the Premium System?

The Premium system should be installed and maintained by a licensed, bonded contractor. Note: individual installation needs may vary and should be determined by a licensed, bonded contractor.

Do I need to change my filters and if so, how?

The Premium will run for an incredible 1,000,000 gallons or 10 years and the sediment filter replaces annually - depending on your usage and water quality. When you purchase the replacement media, we ship everything you need to do the replacement including easy to follow to instructions.

What is the warranty on the UltraHome Premium System?

If you have NOT used any product, and if you have NOT broken the manufacturer’s seal on the box, you can return the products within 30 days of purchase for a full refund less shipping cost. If you have broken the manufacturer’s seal or used the product in any way, you may return the product, subject to a 15% restocking charge within 30 days of purchase. The original shipping charges will not be refunded and return shipping charges must be prepaid by the purchaser.

Since the UltraHome whole house systems do not remove minerals, do we need to add anything to help my ionizer to perform

No - unless you have super soft source water with low minerals - you do not need any additional minerals. Our UltraHome whole house systems are designed to work with all of our ionizers.

Does the system require electricity to operate?

One of the great things about this system is it does not require electricity to operate unlike other systems. Others require (a plumber to perform) a reset if your power fails.

Does my water need testing prior to installation for any reason?

If you are on treated water, it is regulated to meet certain water quality standards, and our whole home filtration systems are designed to work within these standards. If you are on a private water supply like a well or catchment system you should have the water analyzed first. If you own your home, you should have a well report. We offer a few testing options including one for hardness and can help you organize testing. Our WQA Experts will analyze your results. We can design / build a custom system to meet any unique need or concern.

How do I find out the maximum PSI in my home, so I can make sure the system will work?

The system is engineered to work in water pressure between 20pst to 120psi. It will work in virtually any home’s water pressure.

Homvenue offers Free Curbside Delivery on all orders delivered within Canada. Your order will ship out within 1-2 days. This offer currently only applies to Canadian residents. The Northwest Territories, Nunavut, The Yukon, and The Maritime Provinces do not qualify for free shipping at this time. For shipping inquiries to The Canadian Territories or The Maritime Provinces, please contact our support team at Support@homvenue.com. We ship our products using curbside delivery. The driver will lower the package to the ground and place it curbside at the end of your driveway. Placement of item on driveway, sidewalk, or in the home and package material removal or unpacking is not provided but is at the discretion of the driver. If you purchase an item that needs installation, we will send you an email with all installation information 24 hours after you place your order.

As soon as you place an order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail from us. Tracking information will be sent from us within 24 hours of your order leaving the distribution center to the e-mail address provided to us during check out. This is important because if the goods are damaged, you must note this with the courier so a freight claim can be filed, and we can arrange for either a repair or return of the damaged goods to receive a new piece or a full refund if you prefer. All damage claims should be made right away, but you have up to 48 hours to do so.

If you do suspect the goods are damaged due to the outer carton appearing damaged, please note “Possible Freight Damage” on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. This will protect your insurance claim if the product is damaged and a freight insurance claim needs to be filed.

Conditions: 

The item needs to be in brand-new condition with all packaging, product literature, and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition as received.

Refunds will be made within 5-10 business days of arrival to our warehouse once the return has met these conditions. We retain the right to refuse any returns outside of these conditions.

 

 * Damaged items should not be accepted upon delivery.

 

 * After signing for and accepting your item, you are responsible for all damage claims.

 

 * You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your item if your product is damaged or does not meet your needs.
